Rev. Brandon Millholland-Corcoran (Hon) D.Div
Ordained Minister in Jackson, Minnesota
About Me:
Are you looking for a down-to-earth clergyman? Someone to respectfully debate scripture with? Maybe, someone to ask questions about scripture with? Someone who doesn't judge others? Then I'm the guy for you!
I am Brandon Millholland-Corcoran, but most just call me "Doc." I was ordained in 2017, and since then have become an Itinerant Minister. Itinerant Ministry, also called Traveling Ministry, is a call back to the days when ministers didn't have one specific church they were stationed at; traveling to many different ones. In my case, I don't have a specific building, rather my church is wherever I go.
When it comes to scripture, I prefer a nuanced approach. Traditional approaches have their place, but I prefer an approach to scriptures that aligns with the original intent of scripture. I do not hold a degree in hermeneutics, but I have studied the matter privately for the entirety of my ordination. I have also studied Christian scripture since I was a child, growing up in a Christian household; Catholic and non-denominational.
When it comes to baptisms, weddings, and funerals, I largely allow the family (or couple) to guide me. It is less about me in those circumstances and more about the person or people involved. If they want a wedding with Catholic influences, I do my best to offer them. My standard fee is flexible. For weddings and baptisms, I usually ask for my travel to be covered. However, I'm flexible on this. If the family or couple is impoverished, I just ask that they pay forward their kindness to someone else. For funerals, there is no charge. I do not believe that death is an open opportunity for capitalism. If a family feels they must absolutely pay me, I let them decide what is best.
If you are looking for general ministry, maybe you want me to come on a podcast or speak at your church, just contact me. Most of my sermons are on Facebook and showcase who I am as a minister. I have zero tolerance for hatred and I believe in a gospel-centered approach to the New Testament. Maybe you need someone to talk to about religious matters, or someone to debate issues with, you can always contact me. Just make sure to alert me where you found me, and why you are contacting me. I do not charge hourly for these, but if you would like to pay me, that would be appreciated.
In regard to home blessings and exorcisms, I have criteria to be met. You can reach out and request information. I will get back to you as soon as I can. However, I am strict on compliance with my criteria. I may waive some criteria, but not all of them. I do not charge for these services, deliverance is offered to the rich and poor alike and shouldn't be a paid service.
