About Me:
Personal standards of presence when engaging with the mind, body, and spirit of others: The Wounded Healer “To participate in the presence and stories of others through an unconditional lens and authentic regard for their personal well-being. To respond mindfully with respect to emotional, spiritual, physical, and psychological needs. To approach with kindness, compassion, and acceptance of individual truth as it is perceived and understood by the beholder. To respect and honor difference in all life as it is Divinely created and unique. To humbly accept my own vulnerabilities and ignorance. To speak truthfully with integrity and empathy. To approach with a humble willingness to give and receive.”
The foundation of my work as a spiritual care provider is informed through various traditions including Native American Spirituality, Catholicism, Buddhism, Taoism, Science of Mind, and Christianity. I am a Pagan at heart and believe that all life is connected and that we are all one. It is through this lens that I approach and am present with others. As with many who have journeyed toward some truth or understanding of our existence in the world, I have worked diligently to become what I longed for in others: a safe presence, unconditional acceptance, truly interested and curious about the other, and authentic. My calling is to ponder and wonder with the other about this beautiful, but challenging thing, we call life. Learning to navigate ourselves and our experiences toward some experience of serenity and acceptance are the motivating factors of companionship. May Blessings be upon you, that you are presented with the deepest desires of your life force.
