Craig Mullins in San Francisco
Ordained Minister in Pleasanton, California
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I chose to become an ordained minister online because I wanted to provide a flexible and inclusive option for people seeking meaningful ceremonies. The Universal Life Church’s online ordination gave me the legal authority to perform services for anyone, anywhere, without the constraints of denominational boundaries or geographic limitations. My motivation stemmed from a deep desire to help people celebrate life’s milestones—weddings, baptisms, and beyond—in a way that feels personal and authentic to them. I saw online ordination as a way to break down barriers, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their faith or circumstances, could have a ceremony that resonates with their heart and soul. It’s about making those sacred moments accessible and tailored to each individual or family I serve.
Where are you from?
I live in Northern California in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I have homes in these cities: Pleasanton, CA 94588 Twain Harte, CA 95383 Valley Springs, CA 95252
Other nearby areas include Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon, Concord, Pleasant Hill, San Jose, Sacramento, Oakland, Berkeley, Hayward, San Leandro, Lodi, Stockton, Fremont, Santa Clara, & Mountain View. I also love using county, state and national parks; for example Yosemite National Park.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
With my online ordination, I aim to bring joy, connection, and a sense of sacredness to people’s lives during their most significant moments. I want to help couples begin their married life with a wedding ceremony that captures their love and values, assist families in welcoming new members through heartfelt baptisms, and offer comfort and support during funerals or times of loss. Beyond that, I hope to be a resource for those who may not fit into traditional religious molds but still crave a ceremony that feels special and significant. My ultimate goal is to create lasting memories and make a positive impact by crafting services that honor every client’s unique journey—whether it’s a traditional religious rite or a completely custom celebration.

I see spirituality as a personal journey, and I’m here to meet you wherever you are on that path. Whether you want a traditional Catholic wedding, a Jewish blessing, a Buddhist-inspired ceremony, or a completely secular service, I’m happy to incorporate the rituals, prayers, or symbols that matter to you. My approach is one of respect and openness, ensuring your ceremony aligns with your beliefs while creating a space that feels sacred and inclusive for everyone involved.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Pleasanton, CA wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies stand out is my unwavering dedication to personalization. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all services. Instead, I take the time to truly get to know you—your love story, your values, and your dreams for the day. From there, I design a ceremony that weaves in elements that matter most to you, whether that’s sacred religious traditions, cultural rituals, or personal touches like a favorite poem or a funny anecdote. My approach is collaborative and detail-oriented, ensuring every word and moment feels authentic to who you are. On the day of the event, I bring a warm, engaging presence that puts you and your guests at ease, fostering a sense of connection and celebration. Your ceremony won’t just meet legal requirements—it’ll be a heartfelt reflection of your journey together.
