I became a minister to officiate a Jedi wedding for my oath-brother of 30 years. I had earlier been a minister to officiate LGBT weddings but recently renewed my ordination to make sure my brother's wedding was done right.

I hope to help those who are in love make their love official before their community, their family, and their god, godhead, or gods. Whatever one's path to understanding the divine mysteries of life, all are deserving of proclaiming their love before the world.

I use the trappings of the Jedi Order for my ceremonies. Although it originates in a fictitious universe, the writings and stories about the Jedi offer a legitimately compelling lens through which to understand the universe. When writing the Jedi, George Lucas and his employees pulled from Buddhism, Daoism, Christianity, and other aspects of real world theology. This blend is beautiful to me and to many others around the world.

My wedding services are performed in full Jedi garb. I wear the clothing of a Jedi Master and carry a lightsaber on my belt. I never discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, or gender identity. We are all united equally by the divine quintessence of Creation.

I cannot accept payment, but I do require that venues be able to accommodate my wheelchair. If the couple is able to arrange transportation for me, so much the better.
