I decided to get ordained because I wanted to play a meaningful role in people’s lives by officiating interfaith marriages, where I could celebrate the union of couples from different backgrounds with respect and love. It’s important to me that every couple feels seen, accepted, and celebrated, regardless of their religious or cultural differences. Additionally, one of the most personal reasons for my ordination was to marry my best friend. Being able to unite someone so close to me in marriage felt like a deeply significant and beautiful way to honor our friendship and their journey toward love and commitment.
