Emma Rose
Ordained Minister in Charleston, West Virginia
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I have always felt a deep calling to be of service to others and to the Divine. My journey through various spiritual traditions, from my Catholic and Lutheran upbringing to my exploration of Buddhism, Paganism, and Eastern philosophies, has shaped my understanding of faith as a universal and sacred experience. Becoming an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church allowed me to honor my calling—to create meaningful, inclusive, and spiritually enriching ceremonies that celebrate love, healing, and the divine connection in all its forms.
Where are you from?
I was born in New Jersey, where I was baptized Catholic and raised in both Catholic and Lutheran traditions. My spiritual journey has taken me across many places, including my time in the U.S. Navy, where I was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia and traveled extensively. I later spent time in Texas, where I attended culinary school and Christian college. My path has been shaped by my experiences in diverse spiritual communities, from formal church services to full moon rituals, drum circles, and interfaith gatherings. While my roots are in Christianity, my journey has led me to embrace a broad and inclusive spiritual path, integrating wisdom from many traditions.

Additional Information
At my core, I am a seeker of wisdom and a student of the sacred mysteries. I do not believe that any one path is superior to another, but rather that all traditions hold pieces of a greater truth. My role as an ordained minister allows me to honor and serve people from all walks of life, offering ceremonies, spiritual guidance, and healing work that reflect the oneness of all faiths.
I believe that the Divine is infinite and manifests in many forms—through scripture, through nature, through meditation, through magick, and most of all, through love. My spiritual journey is one of continuous learning, deep reverence, and the pursuit of truth, always seeking the sacred in all things.
I was baptized Catholic and raised with both Catholic and Lutheran traditions, which gave me a strong foundation in Christianity and the teachings of Jesus. As I grew, my spiritual journey expanded, leading me to study Buddhism, Gnostic Christianity, Goddess Worship, Hermetic teachings, Theosophy, the wisdom of the ascended masters, and nature-based spiritual traditions.
I resonate deeply with Christ Consciousness and Buddha Consciousness, recognizing the divine message of love, compassion, and inner awakening that transcends religious boundaries. My studies have led me to explore the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, and other Gnostic texts, which reveal the hidden wisdom of Jesus and the journey of the soul toward divine knowledge. Similarly, the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path of Buddhism have shaped my understanding of mindfulness, self-transcendence, and the dissolution of suffering.
Through my studies of Hermetic teachings and Theosophy, I have explored the Kybalion, the Seven Hermetic Principles, and the writings of Alice Bailey, Helena Blavatsky, Kathlyn Kingdon and other esoteric scholars. These teachings emphasize the interconnectedness of all things, the laws of vibration and correspondence, and the sacred journey of the soul toward enlightenment. Theosophy, in particular, has deepened my understanding of the divine nature of the universe, the evolution of consciousness, and the wisdom passed down by ascended masters.
Goddess worship and various nature based traditions have also been significant aspects of my path, allowing me to embrace the sacred balance of nature, the moon’s cycles, and the elements—earth, air, fire, and water. The practice of magick, ritual, and herbal alchemy has deepened my connection to the Divine, helping me harness energy for healing, transformation, and manifestation. Through Wicca and other forms of nature-based spirituality, I honor the Goddess and God in their many forms, the sacred wheel of the year, and the interplay of light and shadow in spiritual growth.
I embrace both the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine, honoring their balance in all things. I feel a profound connection to Ma Durga, Kali Ma, Mary, Quan Yin, Sophia, and the Holy Spirit, as well as Shiva, Krishna, Thoth, Master Djwhal Khul, Enoch, Sai Baba, Saint Germain, and the wisdom of the ascended masters. I also deeply respect the wisdom of the cycles of the moon, the sacred rhythms of the universe, and the energetic forces that shape reality, understanding that all paths lead to the same divine source.

I bring a diverse and deeply rooted background in spirituality, holistic wellness, and community service. My journey has been shaped by both formal education and hands-on experience, blending psychology, theology, energy work, and holistic healing into a path of service and guidance.
I attended culinary school, where I studied holistic wellness and nutrition, developing an understanding of how food, herbs, and energy-infused nourishment can support the body, mind, and spirit. I also studied psychology and theology at a Christian college, deepening my knowledge of spiritual advising, faith-based healing, and human consciousness.
During my time in the U.S. Navy, I was a member of the Blue Jacket Memorial Choir, where I had the honor of singing at ceremonies and memorial services. In my free time, I participated in missionary work, offering support and spiritual care to those in need. My service work continued as I later facilitated group meetings for veterans in recovery and provided comfort care for residents in veterans’ nursing homes and community hospitals.
Beyond my formal education, I have spent years cultivating spiritual leadership and ritual facilitation. I ran a small spiritual community center, where I facilitated group meditations, prayers, and spiritual discussions. I have led full moon rituals, drum circles, and seasonal celebrations for Yule, Samhain, and the Solstices. I have also participated in Pagan Pride events, organized food drives, and led community outreach programs to support those in need.
My experience also includes planning and officiating wedding ceremonies, as well as assisting in formal church services, ensuring that sacred moments are honored with reverence and deep spiritual intention.
In addition to my ministerial work, I run an online spiritual gift shop where I create custom spiritual goodies and ritual supplies to support others on their spiritual journeys. My shop carries over 90 different herbs for spiritual workings, along with intention-infused candles, incense, crystals, altar supplies, and sacred items that honor the Divine from many spiritual traditions. My offerings include intuitively selected herbal apothecary starter kits, handcrafted ritual tools, and energy-infused items—each created with deep reverence, intention, and love to help others manifest, heal, and connect with their higher selves.
My work also includes creating custom ritual kits from scratch for those wishing to embark on their own spiritual journey. I have taught classes on the Divine Feminine, developed DIY courses on home cleansings, blessings, and protection rituals, and provided one-on-one spiritual advising.
With a passion for bridging ancient wisdom with modern practice, my experience has allowed me to serve as a teacher, healer, and spiritual guide. Whether through rituals, teachings, community service, handcrafted spiritual tools, or energy work, my goal is to help others connect with their divine essence, cultivate healing, and walk their own sacred path with clarity and empowerment.
