Religious affiliation is unnecessary to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, although it is encouraged to attend a church as a family. The community of a church family can help families stay committed to one another and become successful members of their communities.

My husband and I have been married for 40 years. We have 2 adult children and one grandchild. I believe in marriage and understand it's challenges in our culture today. I believe with the right tools and understanding it is possible to have a successful, loving and happy marriage.

I do not require pre-marital counseling but offer it as well as post-marital counseling if needed. I believe in marriage and the nuclear family. I believe God is pro-marriage, and sometimes the church turns away people from getting married because they must have a church affiliation. I desire to see a couple married and perhaps find a church they feel connected with. Marriage is a long journey; a couple needs as much help and encouragement as possible to stay married and raise healthy children.
