Originally from Texas, I have now lived in Fairbanks, Alaska - on the unceded territories of the Lower Tanana Dene Peoples - for decades. I recognize the sovereignty of Alaskan Natives & that I am a visitor here. I am grateful to be able to learn from Indigenous leadership in stewarding this beautiful land.

I hope to build a stronger community where people are seen as their wholly authentic selves as we move through our one wild & precious lives together.

Personally, I am not religious. However, I believe deeply in the inherent dignity & wonder of all life. I celebrate that we are all children of the universe & know that commUNITY is the answer to humanity's self-made woes.
