Tara Jean Hilbert
Ordained Minister in Slatington, Pennsylvania
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
My Mom suddenly passed away July 28th, 2024, at the age of 70 unexpectedly. When we were planning out her funeral they had asked if we had a minister to preform the service. At that point I looked at my brother and said I didn't want a stranger talking about our Mom because she had been away from the church and we have taking on a different Spiritual path ourselves. Instead of a normal funeral service, I decided to have a memorial and speak myself. The funeral director approved what I had prepared and said my words were amazing and that I hit all the Godly points with prayer just right. So with that I wanted to be ordained because it felt that it was what was meant for me. Not weddings so much but for funerals and to help others with the loss of their loved ones.
