Steven Moskal
Ordained Minister in OAK BROOK, Illinois
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
My daughter initially asked my to officiate her wedding in Colorado. Before that time, I had never considered becoming a minister to officiate at functions like weddings or gatherings like memorials. Then I realized that I have hosted and given dozens of talks and speeches and eulogies over the years as a business owner, industry professional, board member, friend and member of Toastmasters. I took that first task seriously and found it was a wonderful and fulfilling way to share my experiences. The time spent with the couple and family prior to the ceremony or talk, is such an important part of creating a personal and memorable celebration. After all, the ceremony is about the couple or the testament of the celebration of life. For weddings, educating the couple on the legal process is also an equally important and integral part of the experience.
Where are you from?
Born in Chicago and have lived in the area all of my life. My wife and I also have a home in South Haven, Michigan. I can officiate in the Chicagoland and South Haven areas.
Religious Affiliations
Catholicism
Additional Information
I was raised Roman Catholic. It is up to the couple and family as to their preferences to how they want their ceremony or speech crafted.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a OAK BROOK, IL wedding officiant?
Meeting with the family and couple prior to the ceremony is an important task that needs to happen to learn about what the couple wants to hear, see and feel about the ceremony. After all, for weddings and renewal of vows, it is about the couple and their wishes and making the ceremony memorable. The customized ceremony will always be approved by the couple.
