Vaitiare Kealoha Elie
Ordained Minister in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister because I’ve seen firsthand how stressful weddings can be for brides and their families. As a professional makeup artist and esthetician for over 22 years, I’ve often witnessed last-minute issues, especially when delays or unforeseen problems arise with officiants, adding unnecessary worry on such an important day. I wanted to step in and help by offering my services out of love and compassion—free of charge—for anyone who needs them, no matter their religion, race, or gender. My goal is to make sure their special moments are as joyful and stress-free as possible.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I aim to offer a meaningful and reliable service during life's most significant moments. I want to create a safe and welcoming space where everyone can be true to themselves, no matter their beliefs—or non-beliefs—and receive support on their spiritual journey. My ministry is open to all, with the goal of nurturing a compassionate and inclusive environment for each person’s path.
