Sandra H
Ordained Minister in Washington, District of Columbia
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister online because I wanted to be able to support and officiate important moments in the lives of my friends and family. It was meaningful for me to be able to help create an atmosphere of love, respect, and commitment in a personal way, whether for weddings, vow renewals, or even simply offering guidance. Becoming ordained online was a way for me to connect more deeply with those I care about and celebrate their milestones.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from Southern California, but I consider myself a bit of a traveler at heart. Growing up in Southern California shaped my perspective, but over time, I’ve explored and lived in various places, including NYC, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and nearly 10 years in DC. Each place has left its mark on me. I feel like I carry a bit of each place with me wherever I go.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
With my online ordination, I hope to be a part of creating meaningful, love-centered experiences not only for those close to me but for anyone seeking a genuine, heartfelt connection in their ceremonies. My goal is to help celebrate love in all its forms, from marriages and vow renewals to other life transitions. I aim to provide a welcoming, inclusive space where people feel seen, respected, and embraced. Love is a powerful, unifying force, and I hope my role as an ordained minister can help bring that spirit of love and togetherness to anyone I have the honor of serving.
