Priscilla Hankins

Hello! My name is Priscilla. I am 36 years old and live in the Bay Area. I began volunteering with end-of-life patients at the age of 16 and am currently a practicing end-of-life doula and Hospice volunteer. I have been certified as an end-of-life doula through both the University of Vermont as well as the International Association of Professions Career College. I am a certified yoga teacher (RYT 200), specializing in the the practice of yoga nidra, a guided sleep meditation. I am certified in trauma informed yoga through the Prison Yoga Project, grant writing through Wayne County Community College, and Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Level II. I grew up Catholic and was in Catholic school for 13 years, but I have also received certification as a Peruvian Laika Shamanic Practitioner after a two year long course with my mentor, as well as recently had the opportunity to volunteer working with a Native American tribe during multiple ceremonies. I enjoy the exploration of spirituality, writing, and sharing my knowledge and experience with anyone who is interested. My passion is working with those at end-of-life, but consider myself to be a "rebirth doula" as well, offering services to those looking for support and guidance at any point in their life. Outreach work is of the utmost importance to me, as well as creating accessible spiritual practices for any income level (I work on a sliding scale) as well as those just beginning their spiritual journey. Respect, trust, and confidentiality are at the core of my practices, which I approach with utmost positive regard and love.
