Rev. Jamie Turner
Ordained Minister in Clemmons, North Carolina
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online because I wanted to be able to officiate weddings for close friends and family. It felt meaningful to be part of such a special moment in their lives, and getting ordained online made that possible in a simple and accessible way.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from Lincoln, Nebraska. I was born into a military family, so service has always been a part of my life. I eventually joined the military myself, which gave me the opportunity to live all over the country and abroad. After a fulfilling career, I retired in May of 2023.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
With my online ordination, I hope to create meaningful experiences for the people I care about—whether that’s officiating weddings, leading special ceremonies, or simply being a source of support and guidance. It’s important to me to serve my community in a personal and heartfelt way.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Clemmons, NC wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special is the personal connection I bring to each one. I take the time to really get to know the couple—their story, their values, and what makes their relationship unique—so I can craft a ceremony that truly reflects who they are. I aim to create a warm, meaningful, and memorable experience that feels authentic and full of heart.
