Rev. Roberto S. Macfie
Ordained Minister in Deltona, Florida
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
“I got ordained online because I want to serve as a minister and chaplain, offering weddings, funerals, and spiritual care—especially for Spanish-speaking families who prefer meaningful, faith-informed ceremonies in their own language, with compassionate support, prayer when requested, and encouragement during life’s important moments.”
Where are you from?
Im From Puerto Rico
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I hope to use my online ordination to serve people with integrity and compassion during meaningful life moments—especially weddings, funerals, and times when someone needs spiritual support.
My goal is to offer ceremonies that are well-prepared, respectful, and personal, so families feel honored and cared for. I also want to be a strong resource for Spanish-speaking families by providing services in Spanish or bilingual, helping everyone feel included and understood.
When faith is important to the family, I hope to provide Christ-centered guidance with prayer and Scripture. When someone prefers a more neutral approach, I can still offer a thoughtful, uplifting ceremony that honors their values and traditions. Ultimately, I want to be someone people can trust to bring comfort, clarity, and dignity to important moments.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Deltona, FL wedding officiant?
I think what makes my ceremonies special is that they feel personal, calm, and truly meaningful—never generic. I take time to get to know the couple, their story, and what they want the moment to feel like, then I build a ceremony that reflects their values and keeps everyone engaged.
I also bring a strong bilingual advantage. For Spanish-speaking families (or mixed-language guests), I can officiate in Spanish or in a smooth bilingual format so everyone feels included and connected to what’s being said.
On the day of the wedding, I’m organized and steady. I guide the flow, help the couple feel comfortable, and handle the details with professionalism so the ceremony stays on time and feels polished.
And finally, I’m flexible in tone. If the couple wants something faith-forward, I can include prayer and Scripture in a respectful way. If they prefer something more neutral, I keep it inclusive while still making it heartfelt and memorable.
