Evelyn Stella Asskaryar

I retired with 23 1/2 years of service with Multnomah County Recorders Office as the Lead for the department that issues Marriage Licenses and maintaines the county property records. After retiring I missed working with our diverse community and still had the desire to serve our community. I decided to become an Ordained Minister and put some of my knowledge and expertise to continued use. I was part of and there for all of the changes to our marriage laws regarding same sex marriages and domestic partnerships. My years with Multnomah County have allowed me to be open minded and diverse in all aspects of my life and in everything I do. As an Ordained Minister I can continue my service to my community and surrounding areas with the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding that has come with being apart of these equalizing events and it’s significance to the communities.
