I took this step to make sure that, wherever I live, those around me who do not care to give their money and attention to more typically-organized churches can still meet their need to celebrate major life events, and see their right to pursue their happiness upheld.

My undergraduate degrees are in theater and creative writing, where I studied a lot of history. I was raised in the ELCA and Missouri Synod Lutheran traditions, gave it up and found a far more Pagan approach to life. I can write and perform a very formal ritual for those who like the pageantry of a classically themed ceremony and enjoy the challenge of melding traditions from very disparate backgrounds. OR, I can help families "go off book," and create a unique day that aligns more fully with their individual beliefs and needs.

I don't care who you are, where you come from, what faith you were raised with, if any, or where you intend to go in life; I care that on the day you choose to officially start down the road of life with your forever person (or people), the paperwork is figured out without drama, the happy tears are cried and dried, and the party lasts as long as you want it to.

I firmly believe that humans as organisms are first and foremost hard-wired to seek out and then share joy. As we grow and age, we're taught to let other "important" things get in the way of that pursuit. If I can give some of it back, even for just a day, I'm happy to do so.
