Kendra Crows Belgrad
Ordained Minister in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became ordained because it was the natural progression on my spiritual journey, designed to facilitate deep connections between souls. In a world beyond the supernatural, I've learned to tune out the distractions of modern life and tap into the wisdom of nature, allowing me to see within each individual and guide them toward growth, love, and harmony.
Where are you from?
Growing up in Southern Oregon, I've traveled enough to explore various parts of the country and eventually settled in Pennsylvania, a place with deep roots for my family. It's the state where my ancestors first arrived as indentured servants from several European Countries, who contributed to the nation's foundation. Notably, Pennsylvania was also the first to demonstrate the importance of freedom of religion. A principle established by William Penn and continued by Kendra "Crows" Belgrad.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
As I have always done in life, my online presence will still connect people with the integrity to stay together once they make the promises of love, friendship, and courtesy.

Additional Information
I was fortunate to have a family that did not make me believe any religion that kept me from being who I was meant to become. At the age of 11, I became a walker of the woods, a Witch who took care of the animals and was known to be one of them. Baptized in a Christian Religion twice, trained as a Reiki Master Teacher, Child of Zen, Learner of Spiritualism, and Healer to all living beings who know to request. I am a child of the Universe, who is ready when asked. My only religion is that we are all of the same energy in this Universe, and though we try to be individual, we still become part of the circle of life.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Gettysburg, PA wedding officiant?
There is a reason why I do not take every ceremony off the wagon. It is because love is more than lust at first sight: it is like a good chili. When love is in the air and two cooks know they are working together, blending and marinating, they intrinsically know how the magic is coming together. But if you are forcing something that doesn't have a recipe and one cook isn't helping but throws it together, good luck! It's not going to flavor the marriage well.

As the officiant, I play a crucial role in making a marriage official – without my involvement, the union wouldn't be recognized. To ensure the integrity of this process, I won't perform a ceremony for anyone impaired or unable to give consent. For couples who cherish this moment, my focus is helping them exchange heartfelt vows and promises that will be the foundation of their relationship.
