Terence LeSean Vanhorn

I became ordained because I’ve always been the person people turn to during life’s defining moments, marriage, loss, transition, and renewal. Ordination gave me a formal way to stand in service of others during moments that deserve respect, presence, and intention. I don’t view ministry as performance.

I’m originally from the United States and have lived, worked, and connected with people from many walks of life. My background spans business, community leadership, and personal mentorship, which allows me to relate easily to diverse families, beliefs, and traditions.

My goal is to help people mark important life moments with sincerity and dignity. Whether celebrating a union or honoring a life well lived, I aim to create ceremonies that feel real, grounded, and personal, never rushed, scripted, or impersonal.

My affiliation with Universal Life Church reflects an inclusive and human-centered approach to spirituality. I respect individual beliefs and focus on honoring love, life, and personal values rather than doctrine.

I take time to understand the people involved, not just the event. My ceremonies are calm, thoughtful, and centered on meaning. I speak clearly, intentionally, and with respect for the moment. Couples often tell me the ceremony felt “true to them,” not generic or forced. I create space for emotion without pressure, humorr without distraction, and reverence without rigidity.

I’m open to traveling for meaningful ceremonies and am comfortable officiating in homes, venues, outdoor locations, memorial sites, and non-traditional settings. I have experience adapting ceremonies to unique locations and family needs.

I’m comfortable working with people of all beliefs, backgrounds, and family structures. I welcome traditional, spiritual, secular, and blended ceremonies. I approach every service with professionalism, discretion, and deep respect for the people involved. This work matters to me, and I treat it that way.
