Cyndy Dalton
Ordained Minister in Orange Park, Florida
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister because I felt called to support people through life's most most meaningful transitions. I wanted to help individuals and families honor love, loss, commitment, and remembrance through ceremonies that reflect their unique stories and values. My ordination is a natural extension of my lifelong work in nursing, hospice, advocacy, and spiritual care-- and my belief that every moment matters
Where are you from?
I was born in Massachusetts and raised between Massachusetts and Maine. I have lived most of my adult life in Maine, but lived in Florida for more than a decade. I have worked, lived short-term, and feel connected to Memphis, TN; Raleigh, NC; the Blue Ridge Mountains in NC, Northern Delaware, and Merced, CA.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my online ordination, I hope to offer meaningful, personalized ceremonies that honor some of life's most significant moments. I want to create sacred, inclusive spaces where people feel seen, their values are respected, and their unique stories are honored. Ultimately, I hope to help others approach their life with greater intention, love without regret, honor their personal values, and leave nothing important unspoken.
