About Me:
I have been an interspiritual / interfaith spiritual director [https://www.sdicompanions.org/sdi-profile/fred_middendorf/] ministering to people from all different walks of life for the past 25 years. In 2003 I cofounded Sycamore Spirituality Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana region that is dedicated to the training and ongoing development of spiritual directors through community formation, spiritual practices, mindfulness, and deep contemplative listening. I have served as an administrator, teacher, and supervisor of Sycamore’s three-year training program for 13 years and continue to serve on its leadership team.
In 2021 I became an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church to officiate and celebrate the loving unions of couples as they join their lives together as well as other spiritual ceremonies and rituals.
