Rui Santos
Ordained Minister in Panama, Panama
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I sought online ordination so I could provide truly inclusive, non-dogmatic ceremonies and spiritual support to anyone, anywhere. Having studied Catholicism, Judaism, and Buddhism—and now as an atheist member of The Satanic Temple—I respect every person’s beliefs and step in when their faith communities may have let them down.
Where are you from?
I was born in Portugal, with experience living throughout Latin America, and have traveled around the world—experiences that give me a global outlook and fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?

Offer ongoing support: Provide counseling and guidance well beyond weddings or funerals.
