Shonta Motton
Ordained Minister in Lovejoy, Georgia
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became a minister because I have a strong desire to help people, especially children. I enjoy supporting others, listening to them, and being there when they need guidance or encouragement. Being a minister allows me to serve my community in a meaningful way, teach positive values, and help create a safe and caring environment where people can grow. Helping others gives me a sense of purpose, and ministry feels like the right way for me to do that.
Where are you from?
I was born in Waycross, Georgia, and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up in different communities helped shape my desire to serve and support people from all walks of life.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
