Anny Nachtigall
Ordained Minister in Coos Bay, Oregon
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister because I saw how many people didn’t feel represented in traditional ceremonies. I wanted to offer something more personal, flexible, and real.
Where are you from?
I’m rooted in the Pacific Northwest. Born in Alaska, raised in Portland, and now living on the Central Coast of Oregon.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I hope to offer ceremonies that actually reflect the people they’re for, whether celebrating a relationship or honoring a life.

Additional Information
I was raised within the Christian tradition and later chose to explore my own beliefs. Today, my approach is not tied to a specific doctrine, and I work with people of all backgrounds, beliefs, or none at all.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Coos Bay, OR wedding officiant?
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all ceremonies. What makes mine different is that they’re built around the people standing in front of me and what they want, not tradition for tradition’s sake.

Additional Information
I welcome people from all walks of life, including those exploring their beliefs or moving away from more traditional religious paths. My role is not to guide belief, but to support people in creating ceremonies and moments that feel right to them.
