Linda Lichty
Ordained Minister in abilene, Texas
About Me:
Blessed day to you! Thank you for taking the time to review my profile as you plan your special day. I have been an ordained minister since 2016 when my daughter was planning her wedding. Who better to officiate than mom? Unfortunately, she was getting married in Pennsylvania and that was the ONE state that did not recognize me as a minister because I did not belong to a local church. We still had a beautiful ceremony; they just had to be “officially” married by the local Justice of the Peace. Since then, I have married my son and daughter in law, friends and couples who found me through Facebook. I have performed weddings in backyards, parks, a motorcycle clubhouse (my son) and even in the county jail through phone and across glass. I always obtain as much information as I can about a couple before I compose the ceremony. Their “story” is what makes each and every ceremony special and personal. I will do whatever type of ceremony a couple request, be it religious or not. I am a Christian and I believe marriage is God’s plan for us, but I will not perform prayer if it’s not in your wishes. I hope this information helps as you select your clergy. May your wedding be all you hope for and more! Have a truly blessed day.
