Amina B. Shabazz
Ordained Minister in Henderson, North Carolina
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became ordained online to support couples in making their special day exactly what they envision, especially for those who may not be able to afford a big wedding. I saw the need for an affordable, heartfelt option and wanted to provide it, especially for those choosing intimate ceremonies like elopements. Helping people create unforgettable moments without the high costs has been my motivation from the start.
Where are you from?
I’m from North Carolina, and I love the opportunity to work within my community, helping couples from all walks of life create ceremonies that reflect their unique personalities and values.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My hope is to give couples who might not want or afford a large wedding a way to celebrate their union with a memorable, personal ceremony. Whether it’s an elopement or vow renewal for couples 20 years and older, I aim to provide a service that feels genuine, inclusive, and personalized.

Yes! I offer elopement services, vow renewals, and small, intimate ceremonies that honor love in all its forms. While I don’t follow one specific religion, my practice blends elements of Wicca and Islam, which means I bring a spiritual, open-hearted approach to each ceremony.
