Amy Jaffe
Ordained Minister in Portland, Oregon
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I have a passion for people who are on a life's journey to thrive in life through the power of love. It is always an honor to be chosen by humans who wish to commit their love and compassion for each other in the presence of their loved ones. I also have the gift of empathy and compassion when our loved ones have crossed the veil and we are left behind feeling devastated. I have a gift for being present for people who have lost a loved one, and are struggling to navigate their grief. After losing our young son in 2020, I understand the horrific grief of losing a child, AND believe there is a way to keep living, learning, and thriving in life. I earned my master's degree in counseling and am currently a trauma and grief therapist. I also earned a certification from the Trauma Response Institute at George Fox University as well.
Where are you from?
I am a native Oregonian and recently moved to Massachusetts to semi retire.
