M. Kristian Kümmer

Charismatic and successful business executive with strong public presence, public speaking and speech writing experience. I performed my first ordination duties for my cousin on Orcas Island, Washington in 2016. I found the process in working with both bride and groom greatly rewarding and was ordained by the Universal Life Church. I hold a graduate degree from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a bachelors from Southern Methodist University (SMU). I was baptized Catholic and raised in a dual religion household of Catholicism and Reform Judaism. From birth, I was raised to believe we must be accepting of all nationalities, religious denominations, race and sexual orientations.

I believe that any marriage ceremony must be crafted to each couple, and believe that one must spend time working with each family to the degree they feel comfortable. From crafting wedding vows, speeches for family members, toasts, or eulogies, I'm able to join your family in achieve your vision. Located in the Boston area, I'm available for travel within a two hour driving distance of Boston including Martha's Vinyard or Nantucket.

All ceremonies are performed in a non-denominational format, but am willing to work with priests, ordinated ministers or rabbis of other faiths. Fee is non-inclusive of travel; references on request.
