Trane Overton
Ordained Minister in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became ordained as a way to answer a quiet call I’ve always felt—to hold space for others with care, reverence, and truth. I wanted to be a bridge for those who don’t always feel at home in traditional spaces, yet still seek something sacred. Becoming ordained online gave me the freedom to serve authentically, to meet people where they are, and to offer ceremonies, counsel, and connection rooted in compassion, spirit, and soul. This path chose me as much as I chose it—and I carry it with deep intention.
Where are you from?
I currently reside in Philadelphia. My background is a rich tapestry.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my ordination, I hope to offer spiritual support that embraces people from all walks of life—regardless of background, belief, or identity. My goal is to create safe, sacred spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether through counseling, ceremonies, or moments of quiet reflection, I aim to guide others with compassion and care, helping them reconnect with their truth and move forward with greater peace.
