Travis Downing Green
Ordained Minister in johnstown, Colorado
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online because I wanted to help couples celebrate their love in a way that felt personal, meaningful, and true to them. For me, officiating isn’t just about the legal side of marriage—it’s about creating a ceremony that honors the couple’s unique journey, values, and traditions. Getting ordained online gave me the flexibility to serve families and friends right away, while also allowing me to bring my own creativity, ritual design, and storytelling into the role.
Where are you from?
I come from roots that stretch across the country—from the warmth of South Texas to the mountains of Colorado, with connections as far east as Ohio and as far south as Florida, and everywhere in between. My journey has given me a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for the diverse traditions, families, and communities I serve.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Truly who knows!
