A few years ago, two friends who were getting married asked me to officiate their wedding. As a same-sex couple, they had struggled to find an inclusive minister who would honor their love without judgment. I became ordained because I wanted them to feel supported, respected, and celebrated. Their request inspired me to help create that same experience for other couples.

I am originally from New Bern, North Carolina, and now call the Hampton Roads area of Virginia home

I hope to help couples celebrate their commitment through meaningful, personal, and inclusive ceremonies. I believe every couple deserves an officiant who respects their story and makes them feel welcome. My goal is to bring warmth, dignity, and joy to one of the most important moments in their lives

My approach centers on love, compassion, respect, and the dignity of every person. I respect each couple’s beliefs and welcome conversations about incorporating religious, spiritual, or secular elements that are meaningful to them.

I want each ceremony to reflect the people standing before me—their personalities, their journey, and the promises they are making. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and inclusive, with room for heartfelt moments and a little humor when it fits. As a coach, I value listening and helping people express what matters most to them. I bring that same care to creating a ceremony that feels authentic to each couple.

I primarily serve the Hampton Roads area, including Suffolk, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Hampton, and Newport News. I am also open to nearby locations within my travel range. **Special arrangements are considered for destination ceremonies.
