About Me:
Omnism is the recognition and respect of all religions or lack thereof; those who hold this belief are called Omnists. An Omnist believes "in a single transcendent purpose or cause uniting all things or people". However, as with modern physics, this does not mean that there is a single transcendent purpose or cause that unites. There may indeed be an infinite number of possibilities, or a deeper form of uncertainty in reality. There may be an influence more akin to existentialism in which consciousness is a power or force that helps determine the reality, yet is not a divine influence. Universalism is a theological and philosophical concept that some ideas have universal application or applicability. A community that calls itself universalist may emphasize the universal principles of most religions, and accept others in an inclusive manner. It is centered around the belief in a universal reconciliation between humanity and the divine. Religion is a social-cultural system of designated behaviors and practices, morals, worldviews, texts, sanctified places, prophecies, ethics, or organizations, that relates humanity to supernatural, transcendental, or spiritual elements. However, there is no scholarly consensus over what precisely constitutes a religion. There are an estimated 10,000 distinct religions worldwide. The meaning of spirituality has developed and expanded over time, and various connotations can be found alongside each other. In present use, mythology usually refers to the collected myths of a group of people, but may also mean the study of such myths.
