I found my niche’ when I began the process of recovery from addiction back in 2004. After several attempts to get sober, God heard my heart and the stars aligned. This was the best decision I ever made for myself. I always struggled with other issues such as abandonment, rejection, sexuality vs Religious beliefs, etc. I learned through my Addiction that Recovery is a Spiritual program of action. If your Spiritual program of action isn’t fulfilling, then you are missing something. For me, this was renewing what I had missed growing up as a Christian. So it was time to go deeper. I was giving out Hope but not renewing my own Faith because of my own Religious prejudices. Developing a good Spiritual foundation is important and it begins by defining the ins and outs of your “Higher Power” while working through your internal cracks and crevices; mind, body, spirit and emotions. Perspectives change as we grow and learn. We must develop our spiritual intimacy as well. If we become stagnant, there’s a reason. If we aren’t secure in our belief system then it’s time to tear down to what is blocking us off from being authentic, to go through a healing process one-on-one with the “God of our understanding” then to rebuild. You never know what life events are around the corner. The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous tells us, “we must maintain our Spiritual Growth or we won’t be able to withstand the trials ahead”. Those who know me, saw this in action. Most of us fear our reputation after a relapse, after a Spiritual Awakening because of the diversity that exists around us. This is the Golden gift! By searching for my authenticity, I discovered what it truly means to have an intimate relationship with “God as I understood Him”. I don’t have to wear a specific face. Internally, I love Jesus and my Catholic background. I love Joel Olsteen, Joyce Meyer and anything pertaining to integrity, the Golden Rule, positivity I had me all along, but I was was missing His intimacy. For once in my life, I fit in my skin, 100% but this time I fit in my skin with my God-Consciousness as my Guide. God “is” a Consciousness but my mind and heart couldn’t place this scenario into my Christian foundation. Even though I somewhat knew that “there was more”, I allowed my friends and family to sway me along with my own inner criticism. I feared consciousness alone because of the way I watched others present it. I judged therefore my outcome was resistance. It was also hard for me because I needed my heart to understand and grow, due to my present circumstances. When you try to move forward with wrong motives, judgement, criticism as being a bias to your “own” system or what you want to present to others, the energy backlash will be harsh. I became a Spiritual Life Coach because of my passion for helping others as well as to show others that God is always doing something new! Throughout our Biblical history, we didn’t have the scientific technology as we do now, so many people are afraid to look beyond history out of fear of sin as well as misinterpreting why specific personalities, diversity, diversity in sexuality, why we do what we do, events and relationships happen. This is why It’s so important to use our time wisely and face ourselves and to face God. Growing your relationship with Him on a personal level, to discover that we are “never” separated from His unconditional love and forgiveness. Intimacy gives you this, not only to discover your purpose within Him but to allow Him to guide you through any prejudices related to your “old perceptions” of Christianity, throughout our society and to reveal to you His Truths! It took me a very long time to allow myself to fully let go because of my fears. Even when I was open and aware that consciousness existed, I became more fearful. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE GOD THAT YOU FOLLOW! Allowing Him the freedom to work within me took extreme courage to step outside of my comfort zone to the realm of the unknown, through the darkness, until I was able to see the light even while in the darkness. Not to fear for my safety. To experience the emptiness, experience the depression, to stay grounded in myself and hold firm to my own personal boundaries, to develop a better attitude concerning the amount of stress I was experiencing, to remain in the mindset of “thy will be done”, to not let my anger and fear debilitate me, to rely on the wisdom, assistance and strength of our Heavenly Guardians. Not to fear shadow work as they taught me how to step over the shadows that exist in the darkness and since Jesus is my God center, leaning on Him to lift me to the place of least resistance. Asking Him, what am I missing? Learning the importance of not constantly looking at social media because of all of the different opinions flying around and not to believe everything that I read-allowing my inner guidance to lead me.-even it was in conflict with the people that I looked up to, realizing that we are all growing and developing. To journal and to consciously remain in the awareness of where I stand firmly in my belief system boundaries-through prayer and meditation. To understand the flow of how our mind’s subconscious plays a part in our lives through the Law of Attraction, while revealing the consciousness of the Universe, the importance of our Energetic make-up and how we can stand our ground when we firmly believe in a specific process such as the inability to quit smoking without God’s help and to realize that He will remove this on His timing. To consistently ask for help, through wholehearted prayer and when I don’t understand or am confused and overwhelmed, to relax, while praying for the strength to do what is in front of me, like everyday tasks. To remain focused on the big picture, in Him. To remain grateful by focusing on the accomplishments instead of the outcomes. To trust in His timeline, to accept His truths and to pray, pray, pray and praise, praise, praise! Spiritual Life Coaching is like taking your relationship with Jesus to the next level while giving me the ability to support myself and to “know” without a shadow of a doubt that I am safe in His arms, while being able to do what I love to do!
