Ordained Minister in San Diego, California
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online while working at a hotel, where I met a really sweet couple who were about to be married. They were desperate to find a bilingual Spanish-English minister, because some of their family members spoke only Spanish. I felt called to step in and help, and that moment opened a deeper path for me.
Ministry is about service -serving all humans with love, compassion, and openness. My purpose is to be a bridge: between languages, cultures, traditions, and even between hearts. As a nonbinary minister, I bring that sense of inclusivity and wholeness into everything I do. I speak Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French, and I’ve had the joy of officiating two bilingual weddings so far -one in Spanish/English and one in Portuguese/English. Each time, it’s been a privilege to help families feel fully included in the moment, honoring their voices and stories.
Being a minister is not just about ceremonies for me; it’s about creating spaces where love, connection, and humanity can flourish, across all borders.
