I am an disciple of Jesus Christ! I know that being a Christian is not about keeping rules and regulations, performing rituals, or even going to church. It's about being in a close personal relationship with God. It is not by any effort on our part, but through God’s grace and mercy which is a gift given freely to all of us who believe. (Ephesians 2:6-9). His grace and mercy is given to us through Jesus his divine Son. Jesus is God's great gift to humanity, He brings us to God through his death on the cross for us and his resurrection. (John 3:16) Our change in status from being unknowing of God to being God’s friend comes simply through believing and building our own personal relationship with Him (Romans 3:22-24). I believe in the whole Bible and not just a part for my convenience! Jesus came to set the captives free!
