I also offer TeleSessionss from the privacy of your own home anywhere in the U.S. Allow me a moment to tell you a little about myself.

I am not a licensed practitioner so I do not feel comfortable using the term counselor. I am more of a confidant, life coach, mentor or better yet, a professional listener. I hold a Master’s degree in Arts and Teaching, a dual study bachelor’s degree in theater and psychology and am an ordained minister. I have worked in schools, psychiatric hospitals, group homes etc., as a youth counselor, teacher and mental health professional for over twenty years. I have spent many years serving as a relationship counselor at our church and volunteering for a local crisis hotline.

Personal accomplishments include publishing a children’s book, writing and recording a music cd, and two honorable discharges from the United States Army and Airforce. However, the most meaningful accomplishment is my family. I have a happy, healthy fifteen-year marriage, and two wonderful adopted children.

To help your life journey I use a variety of techniques and apply experience, education, and a common-sense approach to your unique situation. I blend conventional and alternative approaches when working with each individual client or couple to get to the root of the issue(s).

I have a private office in my home to ensure our sessions are completely confidential. If speaking on the phone aloud poses a challenge and writing is preferred I am happy to accommodate this as well.

I have spent years counseling individual clients, as well as, engaged/married couples, premarital/marital counseling, conflict resolution, sex-education and much more. I have worked with countless clients on an array of issues including all aspects of spirituality and worked extensively with the LGBT community.
