Robin A Holstein
Ordained Minister in Charleston, West Virginia
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
Rooted in my history as a certified UMC minister, my current ministry has evolved beyond the confines of traditional organized religion. I’ve embraced an independent ordination to better serve the mission I’ve been given: to provide heartfelt, and personal hospitality to all those I encounter.
Where are you from?
Kanawha County, West Virginia
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My ordination allows me to provide comprehensive, independent Protestant Christian ministry to my community. I aim to offer a complete suite of services that honor traditional values including:
*Lifecycle Events: Marriages, Renewal of Vows, Handfastings, Baptisms, and Funerals. *Counseling & Education: Premarital Counseling. *Public Ministry: Guest preaching, revivals, and general ministry support.
My mission is to provide professional, authentic spiritual care that is accessible, and tailored to the unique needs of the families and individuals I serve. I am currently available for bookings throughout West Virginia and would be honored to discuss your upcoming event or ministry needs. >>>Due to the overwhelming amount of spam calls I receive you will need to leave a message.

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Charleston, WV wedding officiant?
What makes my ceremonies special isn't a performance; it’s a commitment to being truly present. I draw on my years of ministerial experience to provide a ceremony that is calm, professional, and entirely focused on the couple. Because I operate outside the rigid structures of organized religion, I have the freedom to listen—really listen—to what a couple wants. Whether it's a simple legal ceremony on a porch or a detailed handfasting, my goal is to provide a grounded, respectful space where the couple feels heard and at home.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I occasionally offer elopement specials at my home. Information can be found on the Facebook page for Robin Holstein Ministries. These are quick events, less than one hour, for the bride and groom only. I offer a choice between the bare minimum required for West Virginia, a short but traditional vows ceremony, or a short but personally written vows ceremony.

Additional Information
I want couples to know that I am here to be a resource, not a hurdle. Whether you are planning a last-minute elopement, a vow renewal on my porch, or a destination ceremony in the heart of the Appalachian trails, I am committed to making the process as stress-free as possible. My goal is to handle the logistics and the 'paperwork' with professional ease so that you can remain fully present in the spiritual and emotional significance of your day.
