Dr. Amy D. Ericsson, PhD
Ordained Minister in Lecanto, Florida
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I originally became an ordained minister online because I felt a deep calling to serve, inspire, and guide others in both faith and life. With my background in holistic health, coaching, and healing, I wanted to integrate spiritual wisdom into my work, offering meaningful ceremonies, counseling, and encouragement to those seeking guidance. Becoming ordained allowed me to officiate weddings, provide faith-based support, and help people grow spiritually, all while staying true to my passion for helping others find purpose, healing, and connection with God.
Where are you from?
I was raised in Illinois and have been living in Florida for 19 years.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I pursued online ordination to expand my ability to serve others in meaningful, life-changing moments. My goal is to provide guidance, support, and spiritual connection to individuals and families through ceremonies, counseling, and everyday life transitions.
I hope to create a welcoming, faith-centered space where people feel seen, supported, and uplifted—whether that’s through officiating weddings, offering Christian-based encouragement, or walking alongside others during important milestones.
My intention is to serve with integrity, compassion, and purpose, using my ordination as an extension of my calling to help others grow spiritually, emotionally, and personally.

Additional Information
I am a Christian minister, and my faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of how I serve others. I approach each ceremony with reverence, compassion, and a commitment to honoring God while also respecting the values and preferences of those I work with.
I welcome individuals and families from all backgrounds and strive to create a supportive, meaningful experience for each unique situation. I am happy to incorporate Scripture, prayer, and Christian traditions, or tailor ceremonies to reflect what feels most appropriate and personal.
In addition to officiating, I also offer biblical counseling and faith-based guidance for those seeking spiritual support, encouragement, and direction rooted in Scripture.
My goal is to serve with integrity, love, and respect, ensuring every ceremony or interaction reflects both the sacredness of the moment and the heart of those involved.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Lecanto, FL wedding officiant?
What makes my wedding ceremonies special as an officiant is my ability to create deeply meaningful, personalized, and faith-filled experiences that reflect the couple’s unique love story. As an ordained minister, life coach, and holistic practitioner, I bring a calm, inspiring, and heartfelt presence, ensuring the ceremony is not just a formality but a sacred, memorable moment. Whether incorporating faith-based elements, personalized vows, or unique rituals, I tailor each ceremony to honor the couple’s values and commitment. My goal is to celebrate love, bring warmth and authenticity, and create a beautiful foundation for their journey together.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
I am based in Citrus County and proudly serve surrounding areas including Levy County, Marion County, Pasco County, and Hernando County.
I am also available to travel to other counties as needed for weddings, funerals, baptisms, and special ceremonies. I’m flexible and willing to accommodate unique locations to ensure each ceremony is meaningful, organized, and exactly as envisioned.
For weddings, I also offer and highly recommend rehearsal services. I will guide the wedding party through the ceremony in advance, making sure everyone understands their role, timing, and flow. This helps ensure everything is in order and runs smoothly on the actual wedding day, especially for larger ceremonies, allowing the couple to feel confident, relaxed, and fully present in the moment.
My goal is to be accessible, dependable, and prepared, providing a supportive presence wherever I am called to serve.

Additional Information
What makes my ceremonies truly special is the heart and intention I bring to every life moment I am honored to be part of. Whether I am officiating a wedding, leading a funeral, guiding a baptism, or supporting a family through a meaningful transition, I create deeply personal, faith-centered experiences that reflect the uniqueness of each individual and family.
As an ordained minister and holistic practitioner, I bring a calm, grounded, and compassionate presence. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all ceremonies, each one is thoughtfully tailored to honor the story, values, and emotions of those involved. From celebrating love and new beginnings to offering comfort, hope, and remembrance, I meet people exactly where they are.
My approach blends tradition with personalization. I respect the sacredness of these moments while also making space for authenticity, whether that’s through Scripture, heartfelt storytelling, personalized vows, or meaningful rituals.
Above all, my goal is to create an atmosphere where people feel seen, supported, and connected—to each other, to their faith, and to the significance of the moment. I strive to make every ceremony not just something to attend, but something to truly feel and remember.
