Additional Information
My spiritual background has been shaped by both Episcopal and Lutheran traditions, which provided an early foundation for my understanding of faith, service, and community. I have also had the opportunity to serve in church ministry through campus ministry, experiences that broadened my appreciation for the role spirituality plays in people's lives. Throughout my life, I have made a conscious effort to continue learning, exploring different perspectives, and expanding my understanding of spirituality, faith, and the human experience. I believe that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey and that there is much to learn from different traditions, philosophies, and individual experiences. While I value my Christian roots, I also believe in respecting the diverse beliefs and paths people follow. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, humility, and the belief that we can find common ground through our shared humanity.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Buena Vista, CO wedding officiant?
I believe what makes a ceremony special is making it personal, genuine, and meaningful to the people at the center of it. Every couple has a unique story, and I want their ceremony to reflect who they are, what brought them together, and the commitment they are making to one another. I take the time to understand their relationship, their values, and their vision for the day so the ceremony feels authentic rather than rehearsed or generic. Whether simple and intimate or traditional and elaborate, my goal is to create a moment filled with warmth, sincerity, a little humor when appropriate, and genuine emotion. Above all, I want couples to walk away feeling that their ceremony truly represented their love and the beginning of their next chapter together.
