I was first ordained in May 2008 so I could serve the people around me — officiating weddings, praying with families, and offering spiritual support to patients and caregivers in the healthcare settings where I work. Ministry has been part of my life ever since, alongside my work as a physician and educator.

To serve couples and families at the moments that matter most — weddings, blessings, and times of loss — and to build an interfaith, bilingual congregation that gathers in person in Palmetto Bay and online across the Americas. I am founding Lumen Church to carry that work forward. We specialize in spreading the word through our online platforms — livestreamed services, teaching, and prayer that reach people wherever they are.

Ordained through the Universal Life Church in May 2008 (renewed October 2026). Founding Pastor of Lumen Church, an interfaith congregation in Palmetto Bay, Florida, with online services. I welcome people of every tradition and those still searching.

Every ceremony is written with the couple, in English, Spanish, or both, and shaped around their story and traditions — interfaith, non-denominational, or secular. I keep it warm, unhurried, and personal, and I handle the Florida license paperwork so the couple only has to show up and say yes.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) ceremonies, including interfaith and non-denominational weddings, vow renewals, baby blessings, house blessings, and memorial services. As a physician and Florida notary public, I also offer hospital and home visits, spiritual counseling, and can notarize documents when a ceremony requires it. Available in Miami-Dade and online.
