Christine Mathews
Ordained Minister in Adamsville, Alabama
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister because I don't believe in organized religion. I personally believe the Bible itself is a guide for some but not all. In my opinion the Bible is akin to Aesop's Fables, Chicken Soup for the Soul and some historical facts. I do believe in inner peace and being connected to oneself. I do believe in balance between human and nature. I believe in morals, values, honesty, self respect and respect for all things living.
Where are you from?
Birmingham, Alabama
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
If anything at all is achieved with my online orientation I hope it would be the mere knowledge that in being true to one's own self in all aspects of life is the key to inner peace. By living this daily in the presence of others hopefully it will encourage others to do the same.
