La'Faye T. Vick
Ordained Minister in Stillwater, Oklahoma
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I pursued online ordination because I felt a calling from God to serve His people and share the message of Jesus Christ. My desire to enter ministry comes from my personal experiences, spiritual growth, and passion for encouraging those who may be struggling with life’s challenges. I believe ministry extends beyond the walls of the church. It involves meeting people where they are, offering hope, teaching God’s Word, and demonstrating His love through service.
Where are you from?
I am from Shreveport, Louisiana. Lived in Texas many years and now Oklahoma where I have been involved in church leadership, administration, community outreach, and faith-based service. My educational journey in Philosophy and Pre-Ministry continues to strengthen my understanding of faith, ethics, leadership, and the importance of serving others.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
Through my ordination, I hope to continue growing as a spiritual leader, strengthening my biblical knowledge, and becoming better equipped to minister to individuals and families. My long-term vision includes expanding faith-based counseling, supporting individuals experiencing addiction and emotional struggles, mentoring young people, and creating opportunities for spiritual healing and restoration.
Through Grace and Mercy Therapeia, Inc., I also hope to combine my passion for ministry, education, and community service to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Above all, my goal is not simply to hold the title of minister but to fulfill the calling God has placed upon my life. I want my ministry to reflect humility, integrity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to serving God’s people.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” — Philippians 4:13
