Brittany LaMarr
Ordained Minister in Cromwell, Connecticut
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became ordained because I believe some of life's most meaningful moments deserve to be honored in ways that are personal, accessible, and true to the people experiencing them. Not everyone belongs to a church or wants a traditional ceremony, but everyone deserves the opportunity to celebrate love, commitment, and life with dignity and meaning. Becoming ordained allowed me to help individuals and families create those experiences without unnecessary barriers or expectations.
Where are you from?
I serve individuals, couples, and families throughout the state and am available to travel across New England by arrangement. Whether your ceremony is at home, outdoors, at a traditional venue, or somewhere personally meaningful, I'm happy to work with you to find an arrangement that fits your needs.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My goal is to make meaningful ceremonies accessible to people from all backgrounds and walks of life. I hope to help couples celebrate their commitments, families honor loved ones, and individuals mark important life transitions in ways that reflect their own beliefs, values, and traditions. I want people to feel comfortable creating a ceremony that is truly theirs, whether it's simple and informal or more traditional. Above all, I hope to provide a welcoming, compassionate, and affordable service.
Religious Affiliations
Universal Life Church
Additional Information
I am ordained through the Universal Life Church and believe in respecting each person's freedom of belief, conscience, and expression. I welcome individuals and families of all religious backgrounds, as well as those who do not identify with a particular faith.
I don't believe there is only one way to celebrate a marriage or honor a life. My role is to respect your beliefs and traditions, not impose my own, and to help create a ceremony that feels meaningful and authentic to you.
What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Cromwell, CT wedding officiant?
I believe the most meaningful ceremonies are often the simplest. I don't think a wedding needs to be elaborate, expensive, or overly formal to be memorable. I take the time to understand each couple and what matters most to them, whether that's exchanging a few heartfelt vows in their backyard, celebrating with family and friends, or incorporating personal traditions and readings. My approach is relaxed, thoughtful, and flexible. I want couples to feel comfortable being themselves and to remember their ceremony for the commitment they made, not the pressure of making everything perfect.
