Dr Joanne Oliver-Conolly
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I recently became more interested in the Church and God's Word, having been a Christian all my life, although no longer attending Church. I realise that I should go back to gain a greater understanding of religious teachings and the Bible to live a fuller, more satisfying life, enriched with the knowledge to be patient, kinder and to help others and support my family in a calmer, more helpful manner.
Where are you from?
United Kingdom but living and working in the Cayman Islands
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I hope to open a Church 'Seven Seas of God' and obtain a certificate here on Island to marry people out at sea on my boat. I also wish to have Church premises in which to praise in a slightly alternative way, having a love for heavy metal music, and having recently found liturgic death metal for God. I finally found a way in which I can praise, which is extremely satisfying to me!

What do you think makes your ceremonies special as a Grand Cayman wedding officiant?
I concentrate on liturgic metal music - in addition to traditional hymns, however I think that younger people out of mainstream Christian Churches should be catered for.
Are there particular areas near you where you prefer to travel or have special experience?
As I am living on a small Caribbean Island, I can only manage to provide services right here!
Types of Service Offered
Marriages, Renewal of Vows, House Blessings, Exorcisms, General Ministry, Spiritual Guidance
Additional Information
I like to have services which are not as serious as the ones I grew up with during the 1970's and '80's in the UK. We should all smile, sing our hearts out in praise and be happy about worship, not feel it's a chore.
