Bradley Tyler McNew
Ordained Minister in Speedwell, Tennessee
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I chose to become an ordained minister because I wanted the opportunity to serve others during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Although my ordination was obtained online through the Universal Life Church, I take the responsibility of serving others seriously. I see ministry as an opportunity to offer compassion, encouragement, and a Christ-centered presence to people as they celebrate important milestones and make significant commitments.
Where are you from?
Speedwell, TN
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
My hope is to use my ordination to serve people in a meaningful and personal way, particularly through weddings, baptisms, and other ceremonies. I want each ceremony to reflect the people involved rather than simply feeling like a standard script.
For weddings, I hope to help couples begin their marriage with a ceremony that is personal, respectful, and meaningful. For baptisms, I hope to help families mark an important moment of faith with reverence and sincerity.
Ultimately, I want my ministry to be about serving people, treating them with dignity, and helping create ceremonies that they will remember for years to come.
Religious Affiliations
Anglicanism, Baptists, Catholicism, Christianity, Church of God, Church of God in Christ, Eastern Orthodox Church, Lutheranism, Presbyterianism, Protestantism
Additional Information
My religious background and interests span several traditions within Christianity, including Lutheran, Baptist, Catholic, Anglican, Eastern Orthodox, Presbyterian, Church of God, Church of God in Christ, and broader Protestant Christianity.
I value the rich history and theological traditions found throughout Christianity, while recognizing that these traditions have meaningful differences in doctrine and practice. I do not intend to present myself as an official representative of any particular denomination. Rather, I approach ministry with respect for the different Christian traditions and for the individual beliefs of the people I serve.
My goal is to meet people where they are, listen to what is important to them, and conduct ceremonies with sincerity, reverence, and respect.
