Ordained Minister in Felton, Delaware
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
Becoming a minister was never something I set out to do, but sometimes life gives us an opportunity that feels too meaningful to pass up.
My journey began when my brother and my soon-to-be sister-in-law asked me to marry them. It was an incredibly special request, and one that I accepted with great honor and humility. Their request challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone and reminded me that, though I am imperfect, marriage has always held a very special place in my heart. To find the person who becomes your true love, your soulmate, and your partner through all that life brings is one of the greatest blessings we can receive.
The thought that my brother and his future wife trusted me to stand beside them and officiate one of the most important moments of their lives was deeply meaningful to me. It gave me the opportunity not only to celebrate their love, but to reflect on what marriage truly represents: commitment, friendship, faith, compassion, patience, and the promise to walk through life together. For those who have found their true love and soulmate, I believe it is a blessing from something greater than ourselves. To be invited into that moment- to witness it, honor it, and help put words to such a profound commitment- is something I consider a true privilege.
