Amanda Louise Winchester

I originally became an ordained minister because I felt called to be there for people during some of the most meaningful and important moments of their lives. I wanted to be able to offer spiritual support, encouragement, and a listening ear, while helping people celebrate their faith, love, family, and new beginnings. Becoming ordained gave me the opportunity to serve others in a way that felt genuine to me and to help create meaningful, personal experiences for the people I minister to.

I’m originally from New Mexico, and I now call the Corpus Christi, Texas area home. My journey from New Mexico to Texas has shaped who I am and given me a deeper appreciation for faith, family, community, and the different paths people take through life.

I hope to use my ordination to serve others in a meaningful and personal way. I want to be there for people during important moments in their lives, whether that means performing ceremonies, offering spiritual encouragement, supporting people through difficult seasons, or simply being someone they can turn to. Most importantly, I hope my ministry allows me to show kindness, compassion, and love while helping others feel supported and respected on their individual faith journeys.

I believe in God and have a deep respect for faith and spirituality, but I don’t believe that faith has to fit neatly into one denomination or set of rules. I believe God is loving, compassionate, and accepting of all people, including people of different sexual orientations and backgrounds. I believe everyone deserves love, dignity, compassion, and the freedom to seek a relationship with God in their own way. As a minister, I strive to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where people feel accepted and respected for who they are.

What makes my ceremonies special is that I believe no two couples are exactly alike, so no two ceremonies should be either. I take the time to get to know each couple and understand their story, their relationship, and what is meaningful to them. I want their ceremony to feel personal, genuine, and memorable—not like something pulled from a template. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming experience where couples feel heard, celebrated, and truly represented as they begin this next chapter of their lives together.

I believe ministry is about meeting people where they are and creating meaningful experiences that reflect who they are and what they believe. I’m happy to work with couples to create ceremonies that are traditional, modern, spiritual, faith-centered, or completely personalized. Whether it’s a wedding, vow renewal, commitment ceremony, or another meaningful life event, my goal is always to provide a warm, respectful, and personal experience. I want everyone I serve to feel welcomed, heard, and supported as they celebrate the moments that matter most to them.
