Pastor Kyle Straight
Ordained Minister in Phoenix, Arizona
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I've felt called to serve full time ministry since I was 17 years old. After a few years as a medic and a journalist my life felt led to ordination. Tried attending traditional seminary and got discrimination so I found myself here.
Where are you from?
I was born in Pinetop az but raised on a farm near st john IL. Came to phx az in 2017 and been here ever since.
What do you hope to achieve with your online ordination?
I already knew pastoral work because of my best friends that are pastors and I was mentored by them. I came here for the legal backing.

Additional Information
I have my own ministry called straight slate ministries As a person born with asbergers syndrome and cerebral palsy I've known from a very young age I was different Growing up in the 80s with cerebral palsy and Asperger's wasn't easy. Accessibility was a joke. But it taught me serious problem-solving – like opening doors with my foot while carrying a huge backpack. Life's thrown curveballs (I've caught some, fumbled others). From feeling like an outsider in my family to school challenges, it's been tough. But I've learned the power of determination. Every challenge is a chance to grow, become better, and develop a wicked sense of humor. Join me as I share my adventures, my unique perspective (forged through challenges and triumphs), and the lessons I've learned. "If you can't be comfortable in your own skin, you're robbing yourself from your destiny." That's my motto.so now I mentor the forgotten by society.
