Amanda Nikolaidis
Ordained Minister in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey
Why did you originally become an ordained minister online?
I became an ordained minister because I wanted another meaningful way to serve people during important moments in their lives. My career as a Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic has taught me how much compassion, trust, clear communication, and calm support matter when people are experiencing significant life events.
My background includes education in health science and public health, advanced clinical experience in emergency medical services, and work as a healthcare instructor. These roles have strengthened my ability to listen carefully, speak confidently in front of groups, respect different perspectives, and help people feel supported.
Becoming ordained allows me to use those skills in a different setting by helping couples create ceremonies that are personal, respectful, organized, and meaningful.
