Evan O'Campo

My name is Evan O'Campo, and I serve as a Kids and NextGen Pastor at The Refuge Church in San Antonio, Texas, alongside my wife, Lauren. For more than 12 years, we have been passionate about helping children, students, and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. My ministry focuses on teaching God's Word, building strong families, mentoring the next generation, and creating environments where people can experience the love and grace of God. Whether I'm preaching, leading ministry teams, officiating special ceremonies, or supporting families through life's important milestones, my goal is to point people toward Christ and encourage them in their faith journey.

I'm ordained through REFUGE Church but I pursued online ordination to expand my ability to serve others in both ministry and community settings. As a pastor, I wanted to be able to legally and spiritually officiate weddings, perform ceremonies, and minister to people during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Online ordination provided an accessible way to formalize that calling while allowing me to continue serving faithfully within my local church.

I am from San Antonio, Texas, where I live and serve alongside my family. My heart is deeply connected to my local community, and I enjoy helping people build stronger relationships with God, their families, and one another.

Through my ordination, I hope to continue serving people during life's most important milestones, including weddings, child dedications, baptisms, and other special ceremonies. I desire to use every opportunity to encourage others, share God's love, and help individuals and families build a strong spiritual foundation. I also hope to be a trusted source of support, guidance, and prayer for those seeking faith-centered leadership and care.

My ministry is rooted in the Christian faith and centered on sharing the love, grace, and truth of Jesus Christ. Serving families, children, students, and couples has been a calling that God has placed on my life for many years. I am passionate about helping people grow in their faith and supporting them through life's most meaningful milestones. Whether through preaching, teaching, counseling, or officiating ceremonies, I desire to serve others with compassion, integrity, and Christ-like love.

I believe every couple has a unique story, and I strive to make each ceremony personal, meaningful, and memorable. As a pastor, I take the time to get to know the couple, learn about their journey together, and create a ceremony that reflects their values, personalities, and commitment to one another. My goal is to strike the right balance between warmth, professionalism, and heartfelt encouragement so that couples and their guests experience a ceremony that is both joyful and deeply significant. Whether a couple desires a faith-centered ceremony or a simple celebration of their love and commitment, I work to ensure the moment feels authentic and special.

I consider it a privilege to be part of some of life's most important moments. In addition to officiating weddings and Qiencenarras, my wife and I can assist with personalized ceremony planning, vow assistance, and support throughout the wedding process. My aim is not simply to conduct a ceremony, but to help couples begin their marriage with a strong foundation built on love, commitment, and mutual respect.
